How It Works

One typical problem with raising money in todays world is that everyone is struggling. Everyone knows someone who has lost their job or working two jobs just to keep up. Everyone wants to give, but are finding it harder and harder to meet the pre existing commitments. They are cutting back on the daily latte, the weekend movie out at the theatre and cutting back on their contributions to charity.

Organizations are receiving less federal and state grant money and less money from their typical corporate contributors. Raising money has become the struggle that every organization is spending more and more time worrying about rather then focusing on their core constituency.

... But people are banning together to help others. They want to contribute, they want to support their local causes and charities. They give their time and their hard work. They want to do more...

In Kind Giving focuses an organizational effort and deploys that effort across a wide range of organizations and charities. It essentially benefits from the economies of scale by utilizing the same staff, facilities, methods and organizational flexibility to help a four person classical music group from a High School attend a state competition as it can help a ten thousand person strong community organization.

Step One

We lend our expertise in terms of research and marketing to focus, deploy and train your organization before the drive begins. We provide the marketing material to target specific items that can be sold quickly and effectively. We aim to have people donate the things they are willing to give, not the things they don't want.

Step Two

During incoming inspection we sort, evaluate and determine the best way of moving the collected donations. We then utilize our facility to evaluate each item individually to determine the best way to maximize its value. The items are photographed, tagged, packaged and stored in our warehouse facility until it is sold. Finally our salespeople move the items onto the secondary market with the intention to maximize the value of each item.

Step Three

Once the auction drive closes we provide to the organization a detailed report about the success of the drive. We will also provide forms detailing each item for tax purposes. The last but most important step, we provide the proceeds of the drive to the organization.
